This captured a special moment in time between my father in law John in Sydney and his cousin Lewis.

John and Lewis were like brothers growing up. I happened to catch them in a moment when they both were in the same pose looking directly at me while telling us great tails and stories of their childhood reminiscing on past memories.

This would unfortunately be one of the final times I, and Lewis saw John before he left us after a long and brave battle with cancer.

This is in honour of John and the love and compassion he gave welcoming me into the family and the strength he showed constantly in his final years with us.
