I don't know who the subject is, and I don't think it's particularly interesting to know. I do know that this photo brought to mind Millet's Angelus. An order of words, a quite moment. The light tries to snatch the figure from the darkness, but at the same time erases it, rendering the face like a shadow, a silhouette rejected into mystery. There is an ambiguous sense of temporariness and fixity at the same time, of peace and imminent danger. Villa Borghese, Rome.
